regarding "my" sinator the аппара́тчик

For years I have had faith in "my" Senator because he is a fellow Lion and I hoped he would make right decisions. I fear a was wrong. I fear he is an аппара́тчик (apparatchik).

He supported not allowing President Obama's choice for a Supreme Court Candidate to be considered in the Senate because it was an election years (in about 10 months give or take). He supported POTUS Trump nominating a Supreme Court Candidate and voted to allow this flawed Candidate to be elevated to the Supreme Court. At voting time, the next erection was in eight (8) days!

I woke up early thinking of a news reports that some fucking assholes have sued the government on the ground that Social Security and Medicare are unconstitutional. My wife and I depend on both. I suppose the richest want both to go away so they can stop paying matching payroll deductions. 

My wife and I signed contracts and should get both our Social Security and Medicare benefits. I suppose we'll be told "you need to sacrifice to save the economy". No, we don't need to "sacrifice". (We have never been in congress and therefore did not vote in the deficit. The Republicans did that!)  The richest need to sacrifice.  Will the POTUS have the balls to raise their taxes? Bidden would and Trump will not!

About 4 am, I realized "my" Senator Jerry was an аппара́тчик (apparatchik). I have no idea what his principles are anymore. I suspect I will not be the only one remembering his actions when he seeks to win an erection in 2024.
