confirmation fights

The Republicans are upset the Democrats are promising confirmation fights for Trump's cabinet nominees. The Republicans are say "we confirmed five of Obama's nominees before he was inaugurated and seven after he was inaugurated. Do the same for our candidates..."  [words to that effect]

So, what is the difference?

President Obama's candidates did not plan on harming people once they were in office. Trump's candidates have promised to do so. It is now up to the Democrat Senators to protect:

• medicare
• medicaid
• social security 
• LGBT-Q etc rights
• and other rights I don't even know about...

I say fuck the lot of them. The Democrats should give Trump the same level of cooperation the Republicans gave President Obama!  That is, none!

The Republicans are saying "The Democrats need to come together with the Republicans and give Trump a chance!"

Do they mean the same way the Republicians came together with Democrats to give President Obama a chance?

That is very funny!  The Republicans refused to come together with the Democrats and refused to give President Obama a chance!
